2023 Winter School

Level – Beginners to Intermediate
In this 2 day course, participants will make a breakfast set (plate, bowl, mug and/or cup & saucer) using clay hand building techniques. This course is suitable for the beginner as well as those with some basic clay skills. Ceramic pieces will be fired and glazed and available for pick-up within 4 weeks of the completion of the course.
Materials required:
Students with need to bring along an apron and a wooden rolling pin.
Please wear covered shoes.
All other materials will be supplied.

Cassie Thring is a multidisciplinary artist living and working on Kaurna Land. Often working with ceramics, she creates sculptural and functional forms, and runs community workshops that explore the versatility and joy of clay.
