Are you looking for ways to better understand how to draw the human figure? Do you want to improve your anatomy and foreshortening skills?
Join Alex in this 6-week short course and delve into the world of anatomical and figure drawing. Learn about the important proportions of the body, structure and form. This course will help deepen your understanding of how to draw the human form in fun and informative ways.



  • A3 sketchbook
  • Graphite Pencils (HB, 2B, 6B)
  • Hard + kneadable eraser
  • 1 sheet of A1 cartridge paper (for week 5)
  • 1 sheet of Canson Grey paper (for week 6)
  • white pencil or white conte pencil (for week 6)

Optional: Mechanical Pencil (if you already have one)

Alex Beckinsale is an emerging artist whose work is inspired by strange narratives, folklore, and popular culture. She graduated from Adelaide Central School of Art with a Bachelor of Visual Art (Honours) in 2016. She focuses on figurative art and portraiture, often constructing otherworldly and mysterious situations in her work.
