Are you looking to take your iPad art to the next level? Join our upcoming Summer School course with Alex Beckinsale and start creating unique and exciting digital drawings!

Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience with Procreate, this course is designed to help you develop your skills and take your digital artworks to new levels. Alex will guide you through a range of digital techniques and tools to help you create dynamic and unique artwork.

This course builds on the foundational skills taught in ‘Intro to iPad Drawing’, however, it does not require you to have completed that course. There will be some assumed knowledge (like how to use Procreate/digital drawing software, create new canvases, use different brushes, etc.) but it will focus primarily on new techniques and ways of making art on an iPad.

Please note: This course is designed for participants with some previous drawing experience.

The focus of this course will be on how to best utilise digital software for drawing, rather than an introductory course on drawing itself. If you do not have any previous drawing experience, and are wanting to learn more about how to draw, we recommend taking one of our Drawing Fundamentals courses in Term 1.

Required Materials:

  •  iPad with Procreate installed (Or other similar drawing software such as Autodesk Sketchbook)
  • Apple Pencil or other stylus.

Please ensure that your iPad is fully charged before the start of each day and that you have already downloaded your digital drawing software onto your device. (Personal iPad chargers will not be permitted for use in class.)
