Level – Intermediate to Advanced (teens 13 to 17 years)
Are you ready to take your digital drawing skills to the next level? Then this short course is perfect for you! In this exciting program, you’ll learn advanced techniques for creating stunning digital artwork, from mastering shading to creating dynamic compositions. We’ll cover a range of topics, including using digital brushes and textures, working with layers, and incorporating fundamental visual art principles. By the end of the course, you’ll have developed a deep understanding of digital drawing and created a series of completed artworks.
Materials required:
Alex will be doing demos using Procreate on an iPad. Other programs and devices are welcome, the software will just appear different.
PLEASE NOTE: Devices should be fully charged before the start of each class.

Alex Beckinsale is an artist and art educator whose work is inspired by strange narratives, folklore, and popular culture. She graduated from Adelaide Central School of Art with a Bachelor of Visual Art (Honours) in 2016. She focuses on figurative art and portraiture, often constructing otherworldly and mysterious situations in her work.
