Exhibition runs from 4 August – 11 September 2020

Adelaide Central Gallery is pleased to announce its next exhibition, Making the new, normal, a solo exhibition by Zoe Freney opening on Tuesday 24 May, 6-8pm at Adelaide Central School of Art (ACSA).
This exhibition incorporates drawing, painting, photographic and textile elements to reflect on the contemporary experience of motherhood and its representation. As Freney says, ‘The artworks recognise the real complexities of mothering and depict its catastrophes, ambiguities, doubts and pleasures.’
Zoe Freney is an artist, writer and educator, and is a senior academic at ACSA. This exhibition will be accompanied by a catalogue essay by ACSA graduate Chelsea Lehmann.
