Presented by Adelaide Central School of Art and Artlink Magazine

Adelaide Central School of Art’s inaugural Painting Symposium, presented in partnership with Artlink Magazine, draws together some of South Australia’s most accomplished and esteemed practitioners for an afternoon of conversation about process, theory, and material.

We are delighted to present an in-conversation session between one of this country’s most highly regarded painters, Richard Lewer, and Leigh Robb, the Curator of Contemporary Art at the Art Gallery of South Australia. We will also enjoy a presentation from Artlab Director, Sarah Feijen, and Paintings Conservator, Dr Maria Kubik. Attendance is free and all are welcome.

Featuring short presentations by artists James Dodd, Lucia Dohrmann, Henry-Jock Walker, Loren Orsillo, Daryl Austin, Tara Rowhani-Farid, Max Callaghan, Christian Lock, Dr Daniel Connell, Jasmine Crisp, Anna Gore and Mary-Jean Richardson.
