Join us on Saturday 29 August, 10am-4pm 2026 for our Open Day.
Meet our friendly teaching and administration staff, current students, and graduates, and catch a glimpse of what life is like at South Australia’s only independent art school. This Open Day’s highlights include an artist talk with 2026 SALA Feature Artist Troy-Anthony Baylis among his solo exhibition Pile Up, an art book sale in our library, and our 2026 Honours and final-year BVA students’ open studios.
If you are interested in studying at Adelaide Central School of Art, in the degree or short course programs, come along to the campus and have a chat with us. There will be campus tours, lecturer presentations, students working throughout the building, artwork displays, open studios to view, as well as coffee and a bake sale.
Adelaide Central School of Art is an independent Institute of Higher Education located in the vibrant Glenside Health and Cultural precinct. Our Administration, Teaching Studios and Adelaide Central Gallery buildings are housed within state heritage Glenside Hospital buildings built in 1884 and 1899, respectively.
